Jennifer Kennedy is the Chief Operating Officer for PwC’s Tax line of service. In this role, she is committed to enhancing operational excellence, streamlining processes and empowering the tax team to deliver technology-driven solutions that provide lasting value to clients.

Jennifer brings over 28 years of public accounting experience to her position. Previously, she was a member of PwC's U.S. Board of Partners and Principals and served as the Managing Partner for PwC’s U.S. Financial Services Tax business. She also served as the leader for PwC's U.S. Asset and Wealth Management Tax practice—the firm’s largest tax specialty—as well as the Diversity and Inclusion Leader for PwC’s former Trust Solutions segment.

Prior to that, she spent 16 years in PwC's Washington National Tax Services practice, where she cultivated professional relationships and gained experiences that allowed her to offer valuable insights, benchmarks and leading practices to her clients.

Throughout her career at PwC, Jennifer has held various leadership roles and has been instrumental in driving significant initiatives. Her ability to integrate technology into tax services and streamline operations has been pivotal in enhancing the firm's service offerings.

Based in New York City, Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Washington and Lee University and a master's degree in taxation from American University. She currently serves on the Williams School Board of Advisors at Washington and Lee University. Jennifer was previously the chair of the Accounting Periods and Methods Technical Resource Panel of the AICPA and is a co-author of 572 T.M., Accounting Methods - Adoption and Changes.
