Private Leader, PwC US
Shawn is the US Private Company Services Leader for PwC. In this role he has a team of over 170 partners and more than 2,200 audit and tax professionals across 17 markets dedicated to serving private companies and their owners. PwC's Private Company Services practice serves the majority of the companies on the Forbes U.S. Largest Private Company list. Shawn has over 23 years of experience providing private and public growing companies with audit and business advisory services across a broad range of industries including technology, entertainment, media, professional sports, telecommunications and retail and consumer.
As US Private Company Services Leader, Shawn works with Tax, Assurance and Advisory teams to understand the strategies and business objectives of private companies and their owners. Prior to leading our Private Company Services business, Shawn served as the leader of our Risk Assurance Cybersecurity, Privacy and IT Risk practice helping clients manage the ever changing risk landscape in order to build digital trust with their stakeholders. Shawn also served as the Risk Assurance Emerging Services Leader using technology, data analytics and process to bring compliance related services to our clients in areas such as third-party risk management, cloud assurance and controls automation. Shawn’s experience in this space provides him with a broad understanding of the technology and data landscape to bring PwC’s transformation expertise to his clients.
Shawn has served a number of clients including Avaya, Chanel, ADP, AT&T, Interpublic Group, AT&T Wireless, Verizon, ION Networks, Madison Square Garden, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, Mediacom, the Women’s Tennis Association and the National Football League. Shawn has been with PwC since 1993 and was admitted to the partnership in July 2004.
